Paint Already Chipping
I've had my cobalt since 7-5-06 and have noticed that paint is already chipping on the front bumper. Not just one chip that could come from one rock but many right next to eachother. Has this happened to anyone else where paint has started chipping only three months after they have purchased it? Is it covered under any warranty?
Any comments would be helpful, thanks.

yeah the paint on the cars is pretty weak.. your best bet is to go get another shot of clear sprayed over it by the shop of your choice and with the money out of your pocket. or you can get a clear bra. there is no way the dealer will help you if it's from road debris.

Figured as much, but I was thinking paint on a new vehicle should be able to last at least a year (unless obvious damage to vehicle) but I guess not. thank you

exactly. they fix anything at all, even your rims if they are chipping. (contrary to many of you being denied, but you are being denied powertrain work on modified engines)

I am actually calling as I type to get a full copy of my warranty sent to me, what they go off of, to read over the whole thing before I take it in to ask them if it is fixable under warranty.
