Paint and interior

I just got my SS/SC 3 weeks ago. I noticed right away that some of the molding on the dash between the wheel and the head unit was loose and needed to be replaced. And today when i took my car to my dad's so he could see it for the first time the first thing out of his mouth is ," Your bumpers don't match your car." I never even noticed it until now but it is the bumpers and the skirts that are lighter than the body. All noticed within a week -_-

Normal? I have never noticed that on these cars, nor any of the redlines.

What color car is it?

Did you buy it new?

Here's a fun little experiment, look for a cashmere or titanium accord/camry/ anything really. Look at the fascias and compare to the body paint. It is very difficult to color match light colour fascias to bodys mostly because of the painting process being different for both. I know this helps you very little but it does point out that not just cobalts have this issue.

On the other hand, I bought a black one, it matches fine (provided the darn thing stays clean)

Its the sunburst orange. But even then its not the finish its the actual paint. My dad has been painting cars for.....a long time. I don't care if they tell me that its because of a fiberglass bumper the dealer better match my bumpers with my car. I WILL KILL! >_<
