parking brake stopped working

I had this problem pushed down Pistons with caliper tool and everything works now, ever spring and fall I do this and my parking brake has never failed

I did that when I put new pads on and it didn't really help.

The thing with mine is the piston works when brakes are pressed but wont work with the ebrake

And they're not serviceable. Time for new calipers. I really need to get some as well.

just got done replacing everything. took about a hour to replace caliper, bleed it, and both cables. it was pretty easy. i can now say that my parking brake works great!!!

Yeah. Judging by how the caliper looked I probably could have just changed that but I already had the cables so I swapped them out too. The parking brake portion of the caliper was all rusty...

yeah i can take a pic of mine. all the rust was preventing the brake to release all the way. i had to use a rubber mallet to get it to release so i could change the cable

Anyone know what is the P/N for the ball joints? I would go moog but having to regrease everything doesnt seem right to me lol or they dont have to be regreased that often?
And well i noticed one boot is torn a bit so thats why im going to change them out.

I had my passenger side ebrake brake inside the caliper, take off rear tire, pull on the lever for the ebrake, if u can move it, ull need new caliper, if not something else is bad. the other day I had that little plate that holds the cable from the ebrake lever come loose, I guess the nut on the adjuster worked its way to loose and it popped out, so that was easy fix.

Yeah if i engage the ebrake nothing will happen with the caliper the wheel will spin freely but if i press the brake the caliper works like that, so during normal driving my stuff is working as it should. And i already have the caliper just need to install it

Ok great. Replaced the caliper today everything working as it should parking brake and brake pedal feel firm so im happy :
