i have an 08 2.2 and i replaced the head gasket and it will not run now. ive taking it apart 4 times thinking i had it out of time but its in time. ive checked every sensor everything!!!! i thought maybe i bent a valve but valves are fine. has anybody ever ran into this problem?

ha ya. wat kind of oil do u use. its more than likely just water. i see it occasionally at work, the cap gets this yellow goo on it. but yea.. i think ur alright. a leaky head gasket would definitely cause atleast some white coolant smelling exhaust.

That headgasket test kit will tell you for sure. We use them at work and they work like a charm, just ensure a good seal between your coolant reservoir and the rubber cone on the glass cylinder of the tester.
IMO, that just looks like condensation, also can be caused by a failing/failed thermostat not allowing the car to heat up efficiently or even at all, as well as short drives with no problems with your car at all.

as long as you're running a full synthetic oil you'll be fine even if its a small leak. synthetic mixed with coolant doesnt break down & turn milky and lose its viscosity. of course that has its bad sides too, since it dont mix and burn off, it just keeps building up and sooner or later it will find its way out and thats not fun to think about.
