Havent been on here for a while, but I've got an issue with my 05 Cobalt. It has full bolt ons, CAI, header, downpipe, exhaust, and lowered. It is an auto. Every time I start moving from a stop, or slow down to a stop I hear a loud pop, more like a thump coming from the front end of the car. I have no idea what it could be. Wondering if someone on here can help me figure it out, or has any ideas before I make a trip to the mechanic. Thanks.

Down pipe hitting the steering rack,if you can feel the thump in your feet .

No, I don't think that's it. Downpipes been on the car for over a year now, and the noise happens sporadically, but mainly when stopping for starting from a stop. I have no clue what it could be.
