Rattttttttle

just curious, i did a quick search but came up with nothing, does anyone else have a rattling noise around 3000rpm? i heard it a while back it comes and goes and i can always hear it when i am at drive-thru's right beside the wall, it sounds like something is loose underneath (tranny mounts maybe??) anyways i have no idea, obviously i will take it into my dealership but just wanted to know if anyone had the same problem

ya but this rattle is getting worse and worse every day, it sounds like something is loosening, or a belt rattleing, only around low rmps tho and mainly when i reach 3000 in first and second gear.. definatley not an ignorable sound

Take it to the dealer and express your concern and take the service manager for a spin

check around your downpipe....i had an issue like that too... one of my exhaust hangers broke and started to ping and rattle like crazy when the exhaust would move. just a suggestion not saying anything is faulty.

Sounds exactly like what happened to my car and my car is in the shop right now for it, today they are taking apart the engine, it's something internal like a piston, so I'd be warey of that...

I've been hearing this, but only on occasion and it's around 3k rpm, mainly on the 1,2 gears and if I try to accelerate in 5th on the highway. Nothin drives differently, no change in fuel comsumption. My roommate is gonna look at it today.
