Rear Springs

Does anyone know how to remove the rear springs on a 2009 LNF? I have removed the rotors, calipers, and both shocks and the swing arm still will not release far enough to remove the rear springs. (removed the rotor and calipers because I am painting the calipers, replacing pads, and replacing rotors with R1 crossed drilled & slotted premiums! )

Is there something else that I need to remove?

I already unbolted the shocks on both sides and the swing arm will still not come down.

Mine always just dropped down enough, normally with some force. When upgraded to the Powell twistbeam bushings though I freaked out because it just drops to the floor, thankfully my brake lines were unbolted.

I had to use a screwdriver to pry the plastic upper spring mount apart from the body. Fine dirt and dust can work its way between them and sort of fuse them together. If you've removed the rear shocks, the spring mounts are the only thing that can be holding it together.
