Recalls/TSB Info on these problems?

I recently got a paper in the mail about the recall for the power steering on my 06 SS/SC. Should I take this in and get it replaced even though i've never had a problem with it? Or does it only apply to people having this problem currently?

Also my valve cover gasket is leaking oil, I read it was a TSB, will they fix this for free as well (or are they supposed to I should say..)

Yes, TSBs and recalls are free. They pose a threat to your safety or the reliability of your vehicle.

Hmmm... Any chance either of these two things would be affected by the fact that I have a stage 2 kit from OTTP and a CAI?

Recalls are free. TSBs are NOT free by any means. TSBs are only a way to advise technicians of a fix for a common problem.

Take it in for the recall. Its a simple inspect/modify or replace the PS motor... I can't make heads or tails of that recall and I've yet to do one. I'd just take it in and get it handled.

I checked my local auto parts stores (advance, auto zone, etc.) and none of them had it in stock.

Per the Power Steering: Yes, it is a free fix. It is a voluntary recall. The fact that you got a letter means that your car is affected by the recall. You want to get it replaced before it becomes a problem.

As far as valve cover gasket:
