Replacing cruise control buttons on 2008 SS

So the info button on my steering wheel is starting to rub off and it looks like ****. I found the replacement button assembly online, but anyone have any tips on replacing it? I'm mainly curious if I need to pull off the airbag to remove the gray plastic bezel or if that can be pried off by itself. It looks like it slides under the center of the wheel, but not sure how it's latched on the outside. Anyone done this before?

You'll have to pop the airbag off. There are two release points on each side of the steering wheel. Shove a small screwdriver in there to release the airbag. You can then get to the bezels which are held on by torx screws. By the way, I have a set of complete steering wheel buttons here if you're interested in them.

That should tell you everything you need to do just ignore the rest of it. Did that to mine and it shouldn't be too hard to replace just the controls. You're probably going to have to pull the wheel off but that's really easy.

Yeah, this is what I was looking at when I saw that the bezel slides under the center of the wheel. Doesn't look hard, just wasn't sure if it was necessary but seems that it is. No biggie.
