Rim lock question

i got a spike in my tire today. I need to take it off. I have the key and a half in drive gun which makes lug nuts easy. the lock wont move tho. I have it set in the groove but it dosnt move when i try to un torque it. my gun has a lot of torque, should be able to do it. what am i missing?

Car too new to be siezed from age....hope they didn't torque it to the point of stretching the threads.

Try it by hand with a real wrench (not that toy the cars come with).

i never use air tools when taking off my rims. that's how they get messed up. just do it by hand, especially when removing the locks. i know my manual says to never use air tools when taking off my locks, but then again i own a honda. my dealership never uses air tools to take off my rims, they always do it manually do to it can mess up the thread.

it would be in your trunk under your spare tire i had one wheel stud bust on the drivers side and 2 on my passenger side front on both dont know how

You should always use a hand wrench with the key....

Hmmm, was the wheel lock an option ? I have an 06 and no wheel locks .

you can fit your stock lugs on most rims i know i can

Put the car on the ground and loosen the wheel lock then lift it up and take it off. The weight if the car makes it a lot easier to take off. I have had the same problem myslef.
