rpm hesitation
Now I don't know if any body else has posted this or not. If so, I couldn't find the thread.
Well, I'm driving my car in first gear, I shift into 2nd at 3,000rpm's and I'm going about 30mph. As I shift into 2nd, the rpm's rise to about 4,000rpms and then back down to 3,000 when I let off the clutch. Then rpm's start rising at 3,000 and the car feels a little hesitate to pick up power. When in WOT, let's say 3rd gear. I'm doing about 60mph, 4,000rpm's and I floor it (trying to shift at 6,500rpm's), the car hesitates and the rpm's rise a grand to 5,000rpm's (keep in mind the boost gauge doesn't rise fast), then back down to 4,000rpm's and then rises steadily to 6,500rpm's.
Also, my tires seem like they're not gripping either...a lot of high revs and tire spin if I try to get on it from a dead stop.
Now, I was told that it's 'clutch slippage". Now, I'm not sure if it is or not, but I can tell that shifting feels different.
Also, keep in mind that it was in my garage for the past four months (deployed to the desert )
I kept my car in 1st gear, disconnected the battery, and I left the e-brake down.
I also left less than a 1/4 tank of gas in the car, but I ran that out and added fuel injector cleaner to the tank and then I filled the car up. Also, once I returned from my deployment, I changed my oil and spark plugs w/12000 miles.
Now, can someone tell me if this sounds like my clutch is going bad, or if it's fuel, or if it's electrical, or if it's something that I haven't mention?

Sorry buddy, but your clutch is toast. It may be under warrenty. It could be contributed to your driving style. There is a lot of posts on how to drive the clutch right. If youm get a new one I sugesst reading up on it to keep it.

"driving style"???
What's so bad about giving the balt a little gas to open her up every once in a while?
I would say that it's due to no traction at the track (wheel hop & tire spin).

Oh, I don't mean don't give it gas. Not by a long shot. It's just been explained in other threads that you have to rev match shifts fairly precisely and use to motor to move you not the clutch slippage to give you power. IDK hard to explain shortly. There are a bunch of threads on it though. Sorry if i was missunderstood.
