Question RPM Issues when shifting

I am having a recent issue(2 days or so) that when i push in the clutch to shift(in any gear) the RPMs do not instantly drop. They either hold at the RPM for 1 to 2 seconds or they actually increase a bit before they drop. I shift around 2k RPM(always have since new). While i do normal driving, the RPMs are holding for 1-2 seconds. If i get on the accelerator to merge onto the highway, the RPMs raise while the clutch is depressed. Any Thoughts on what can be the problem? I will try to get some video after work of the issue.

Mine did something like this when one of the clutch switches failed. Does the cruise control work?

Hey there,

I'm sorry to hear about this! If you have any other questions or want me to get in contact with a dealer about this, I certainly can. Feel free to private message me with your VIN, mileage, contact info, and preferred dealership.
