SC over boosting and whistle

Hey guys so the other day in a first gear pull at around 5k rpms the car lost power for a split second then immediately afterwards started hitting boost with a slight tap of the gas with a whistling noise after about 12lbs... It hits about 15lbs now which used to only hit 12... I replaced both bypass valve and solenoid and it still does it. What could it be? BTW the car is gm stage 2 with zzp pcm... Thanks guys..

Would it have come up so random like that if it was an exhaust restriction?

Take the downpipe off and look inside.

Not hard to remove.

Yeah I bought a catback and was about to put it on then saw the horror... I should look into a header/downpipe soon and cut that crap off.. Haha.. But also want to make sure its the problem first.. Don't want to mod it without fixing this big issue..

If it ends up not being an exhaust restriction what else could it possibly be?
