Service Airbag light on
07 ss/sc
okay, so my service airbag light came on... great
this is the bottom attachment point next to the passenger seat on the floor with a little sensor
the little wires are frayed internally, i can hold them tight and the light wont come on.
anyone got any experience with repairing this? i dont have the money to replace the entire seatbelt assembly.
thanks

You have to replace the entire seatbelt assembly. I bought a new one from CED, and I think it cost me a little over $100. It includes the seatbelt, retractor, guides, ...the whole works.
To replace it, you need to remove all the interior trim in the passenger rear of the car. I had to use an impact wrench to break the seatbelt bolts loose. The rest of the procedure is pretty easy. If something is in the way, remove it. Take the old one out, and put the new one in.
