Service bullitons(rotors)???

Do any of you techs on here know if it is still the procedure to grind the rotors first, and if it happens again then they replace them??? it seems like a waste of GMs time and mine cause i have like3500miles on the car and if they grind the rotors we all know I will be back soon afterwards with the same problem. Its just that I thought I heard on here that they are not grinding them anymore and just replacing them now.Any advice would be greatly apprciated.THANKS!!

They did that to mine to. The problem is the caliper is to small for the rotor. Thats y they grind but after your 2nd set of rotors it will be fine. But yeah they did the grindin on mine and now it needs it again.

it is still gm's procedure to resurface all rotors with excessive lateral runout or mild de-lamination. they can only be replaced if the are below min. thickness sepc. or excessively de-laminated.

what exact problem is it that you are having, because if you are getting a pulsation 90% of the time that is driver error. from overheating the rotors

lightiningfast5 where did you hear the the caliper is to small for the rotor? that does'nt even make sense if the caliper was to small for the rotor you would just stop poorly
