Shift linkages help

2005 ss/sc with Hurst short throw and 2nd and reverse is hard to engage. Any ideas?

Check the cable bracket on the tranny for loose bolts, had the same issues and found out a bolt holding the shift cable bracket was hanging on by a couple threads making shifts all sorts of gooey

Same for when I put my hurst in, just kept slowly adjusting the side to side clamp till I got the limits right.
