This is the first car I've had with one touch down thats done it. My dodge ram didnt do it, even my malibu didnt do it. Just kinda surprising. I only bring it up as if i dont pay attention like happened yesterday, in comes the rain.

its normal, but after 4 years mine is horrible!!! i would say it takes between 7-10 to roll it up, and if you turn the car off first it takes 15-20 seconds... it is to the point where i need to take care of it before it drives me insane.

On topic, mine go up / down within 1/2 second of each other, no difference really.
On an older car I can see the drivers window being a bit quicker just because it gets used more - the track loosens up a bit. Doesn't explain a big difference on a newer car though.....

i have the same problem. i got an 06ss/na. takes almost exactly as long as u mention and is especially slow when the car is off. it isnt the battery tho, i got a brand new battery not even a month ago, still does it. is there anyway to adjust the rpm's maybe so they go quicker?

no sir its not
it has got gradually worse over time, if it was the batterey it would be both windows that are slow when i turn the car off... this has been a pretty well known problem for the cobalts so dont act like im some noob and tell me my batterey is dying... go change your blinker fluid.

And don't call me sir, I work for a living

My GF's '07 Murano has auto down & auto up for both front windows, no speed difference there.
However, my '06 SS has a noticable driver's/passengers difference, especially if I roll both up at the same time.
I think it is the "nature of the beast" for the Cobalts
