Some quick help

Alright here's the story my friend was on the way home from work he had to fuel up but they only had 85. So now my friend starts his car up yesterday morning and it has a cel. So i was talking to him and i said it was probably his O2 sensor. So we go get it scaned and it was a "weak signal" from the O2 sensor well. (correct me i if i'm wrong) Well were assuming it's dirty cause of the gas he used. So whats the best way to take it out and clean it? Our plan is to get it done tonight without breaking it because we hear they're expensive. Thanks.

Don't know that you can clean them. If they fail they get replaced but you could make sure that the connection is tight and clean.
85 octane is not going to bother the o2 sensor....might cause other problems though if the car is boosted / tuned for higher octane. If that is the case then don't bag on it until you get some "good" stuff in the tank.

And it is always nice to know what kind of car your friend is driving when you have a question

why dont you put fresh gas in the car, clear the code, and see if the code even comes back on at all? I would hate for you to have to waste money on an O2 sensor.
