someone help me get my monitors ready
having a hard time getting my monitors ready.
i have all ready but o2 and evap. i recently got my car supercharged im a 2.2. it was tuned and installed at a local shop with HP tuners
i now need an inspection and its 2 months over due (was due in july). evap and o2 arent ready.
i had a cel for my catted downpipe. i installed the vibrant o2 defouler on sept 2nd. i reset the battery last tuesday because the code didnt automatically go away. i drove around and the code hasnt come back on which is GOOD..
i did a drive cycle (highway going 55mph steady speed for a few miles. and neither of the 2 are ready. for NYS inspection i am allowed 1 to be "not ready" to pass.
im very frustraded.
car has NO cel's right now. im unsure if there is a code in the tune thats disabled causing the o2 monitor not to run but i have no clue.
can any one help me out ill legitly appreciate it

yeah i have the tune that is on my car.
just looking for as much input as i can get. because something im ASSUMING is disabled causing the o2 monitor OR evap NOT to run because i drove on the highway going 60 mph steady for a while and all that minimum pedal movement and all that. drove like 20 miles yesterday.
just really would like to figure this out

I don't think they complete that easy ,there's a bunch of different scenarios that set the readiness.
Driving steady is just one of them!
Found this for you
OBII readiness cycles
After you've "fixed" an emissions problem on your OBDII-equipped vehicle, you should perform what's called an "OBDII drive cycle." The purpose of the OBDII drive cycle is to run all of the onboard diagnostics. The drive cycle shold be performed after you've erased any trouble codes from the PCM's memory, or after the battery has been disconnected. Running through the drive cycle sets all the system status "flags" so that subsequent faults can be detected.
The OBDII drive cycle begins with a cold start (coolant temperature below 122 degrees F and the coolant and air temperature sensors within 11 degrees of one another).
NOTE: The ignition key must not be on prior to the cold start otherwise the heated oxygen sensor diagnostic may not run.[*]As soon as the engine starts, idle the engine in drive for two and a half minutes with the A/C and rear defrost on. OBDII checks oxygen sensor heater circuits, air pump and EVAP purge.[*]Turn the A/C and rear defrost off, and accelerate to 55 mph at half throttle. OBDII checks for ignition misfire, fuel trim and canister purge.[*]Hold at a steady state speed of 55 mph for three minutes. OBDII monitors EGR, air pump, O2 sensors and canister purge.[*]Decelerate (coast down) to 20 mph without braking or depressing the clutch. OBDII checks EGR and purge functions.[*]Accelerate back to 55 to 60 mph at ¾ throttle. OBDII checks misfire, fuel trim and purge again.[*]Hold at a steady speed of 55 to 60 mph for five minutes. OBDII monitors catalytic converter efficiency, misfire, EGR, fuel trim, oxygen sensors and purge functions.[*]Decelerate (coast down) to a stop without braking. OBDII makes a final check of EGR and canister purge.[/ol]

yeah ive been doing "drive cycles" there seems to be a bunch of different methods and all that and from the output of this it seems VERY tricky to get them to set.. unless the computer just HATES me or something.
i also dont know if the scan tool i was using is all there either. because i plugged it in yesterday and at first it read all monitors BUT evap and o2 ready. than the screen flashed and it turned off all the monitors and let 2 ready. what ones im unsure. than it flashed again and said that a bunch of different ones were ready. cat evap o2 and all of them not even lighting up.
than it flashed again and said evap cat o2 werent ready and mil was on.
than i just unplugged it. i didnt move the tool when it was doing this. im going to have to get ahold of another scan tool and scan the car again
