Speed wobble..
When going high speed for say on the freeway, I start to brake and my steering wheel shakes until I let off the brake.. Is it alignment problem or with the brakes?

Speed Wobble
The reason why your steering wheel wobbles is because you have a warped rotor. I think autozone and those guys sell resurfacing kits for them but I am not sure. But if not then go to your nearest brake shop or to the dealership and have them look at it.

Your steering wheel shakes because you have a warped rotor. You can buy resurfacing kits to keep it from doing it. I know its not an alignment problem because I took mine to the dealership to have it fixed and when I paid for the services they told me I had a warped rotor.

I just noticed today my car steering wheel wobbled alot when I braked. I don't have stock rotors, they are Powerslots I believe, slotted and dimpled. Is it like 100% the rotors. I still have my stock ones I can throw back on.

but i will find out if it does it when i go back to my stock rims once i take my rims off in the winter. if it still does it with the stock rims than its the brakes/rotors but if it doesnt than it has to do with the rims

okay I found the name, you need Hub Centric Rings. That solved the shaking on her car

Have the wheels rebalanced , might have hit something and thrown a weight , or sometimes they just decide to pop off themselves hehe .
