Speedometer and idle issues please help!
I own a 2007 cobalt ss/sc
It has stage 3 zzp kit, these problems happened after the installation, yet everything was installed correctly...
So my speedometer stays on 0 and will not move, but my HUD still shows my average speed, which I can reset and show my speed. Cruise control still works perfectly fine. My mileage is still accumulating correctly.
Idle jumps up and down to around 1200rpms and back down to almost stalling at 700, after warming up, although sometimes it will stop but it will idle way too high, around 12-1400 Rpms. I have removed the throttle body and cleaned it, even though it wasn't dirty. Car drives and pulls just fine but these 2 problems annoy the **** out of me.
Please help if anyone can.

Either your gauge cluster is shot, or your stage 3 ECU got flashed wrong. My vote is on the ECU. Any CEL?

Don't remember I'll have to rescan and check. But I had the dealer scan it and all they told me was that it was that it was showing 2 codes both of which were cause by no cat. I'll get the codes ASAP though.

I had the same problem when I installed zzp's stage 3 pcm, have them send you another one and send yours back when you get it. If that doesn't work check the speed sensor itself on the tranny, if that doesn't solve it I'd say it's probably the cluster
