Squeak from backseat..

I have read the thread describing where the problem is at, but for the life of me i can not figure out where its telling me to put the sound deadner stuff... here is the quote from the thread

"Remove the right and left rear split seat back assemblies from the vehicle. Refer to Split Folding Seat Back Replacement in SI. Cut eight pieces of 3M(TM) Squeak Reduction Tape, P/N 06356, or equivalent, into 10 mm (0.39 in) by 30 mm (1.18 in) sizes.

Install four pieces of the tape to the right rear seat back pivot bracket:
The first piece of tape (1) is located at the twelve o'clock position.
The second piece of tape (2) is located at the four o'clock position.
The third piece of tape (3) is located at the six o'clock position.
The fourth piece of tape (4) is located at the nine o'clock position."

has anyone done this? If so can you give me a better idea where I am putting the squeak reduction tape?

If you stop putting hookers in your trunk it will stop squeaking.

Seriously, it sounds like you want to take the bottom seat cushion off, then on the top rear, where it pivots to fold down from the back, you want to put tape on the right hand bracket. Sounds like they want you to take the seat back off as well, but you might be able to squeeze your hand in there.

lol wow, good info here... I was putting tape around where the rear seats connect, like the folding down seats... I had NO idea it meant the actual BOTTOM of the seat.

Now I can finally get rid of that freaking noise... thanks a bunch dude.
