Starting Issues

Ok well I finally got the headgasket replaced on my car tonight after working on it after work for the past two weeks. Only problem is I have problems starting the car. It takes a coulpe tries before it starts over. Now I have not changed the spark plugs from before could this maybe be the issue. Any help would be great thanks.
