Strange Turn Signal Issue
So I get into my car yesterday and I get the very fast clicking turn signal telling me one of my bulbs is out. Upon inpection, my rear driver side bulb is not lighting up. I go to autozone get some bulbs, pull it in the driveway and pop the trunk. I pull back the trunk liner to get a look behind there, but since I have the Pioneer system with the sub i wasn't able to pull the liner back very well and I did not have an extension long enough to get at the sub bolts to remove it. I took out the two exterior bolts but there was still one bolt inside behind the trunk liner I could not get to. No matter much much I struggled to get my hands back there, there was simply not enough room for me to remove that bolt short of removing the sub and pulling the trunk liner off entirely.
So I gave up and decided I'd take it to the dealer. I put the two exterior bolts on put the trunk liner back in place, start the car, and then all of a sudden the turn signal is working again. So two questions, can anyone give me some advice on removing that deep bolt when the time comes and I do have to get it out to replace a bulb. And secondly, any reason you can think of as to why the turn signal just decided to work again all of a sudden?

It must SUCK to have a sedan......I got to mine with no bolt-removal necessary. As for the turn signal, you might have a loose wire which would cause it to not work and then work.

So tonight the turn signal goes out again. I pulled over popped the trunk and hit the light housing from the inside of the trunk with my fist... problem solved for now. Must be a loose wire.

My car did the exact same thing. The problem was intermittent and seemed random. I figured it was likely a loose wire or something. I just changed the bulb though, and it's been fine ever since. That was about 4 months ago. It's probably just your bulb.
