supercharger oil level seems low?
Ok, I'm new to the website so if i'm in wrong spot please let me know.
I've tried looking around for my answer and come up with mixed answers.
I checked my supercharger oil level today and I don't really seem to see any fluid in it. It sprayed out some when i first went to take it off. I haven't owned the car 2 months yet so I wanted to make sure everything is top notch. I have less than 60k miles on it. I was told to check the oil level on the supercharger and fill if needed. NOW I have read that you fill till it spills out. Also read that you fill till it's 1/4 below threads.
Can anyone clear this up for me? I don't want to overfill my supercharger. The little oil that sprayed out looked very clean as well.

I just changed my oil in my supercharger, had the car since 07 bought brand new off the lot...when I changed the oil the car had 130k on it and the supercharger oil was Very low...And yes the oil level should be right below the fill hole. Just keep pouring it in until it shoot out. it will take about 2-2 1/2
4oz bottles
4oz bottles

I took mine off it was easier and I was changing the coupler also...which didn't need to be done but I did it anyways. if you do take it off make sure you can put the belt back on! make sure you have new gaskets for the supercharger which you can get from the chevy dealership for not much. and yeah just tip it over and pour it out. like i said i just did mine...i wish i had taken photos and did a write up..oh well
