Supercharger oil question. 3.4oz or fill to fill plug?
I've read multiple sources on and off this site. 3.4oz. But I was always told that you keep that plug open, when the oil starts to dribble out of the fill hole reinstall the plug. Today I pulled my charger off to install new laminova core o-rings. And while the charger was off I decided to drain it. I got about 2.2 oz out of it.(dark brown) I put it all 8 oz(spilled a decent amount, that stuff stinkssss!) and the fluid never even reached the fill hole. So I haven't driven it cause I thought it was just going to take the 3.4 oz then start to over flow. What should I do. Suck out all the fluid and just add 3.4oz.? Or is the fill plug a good marker?

I think the charger is supposed to be leveled off the car for oil to dribble out the fill hole. If it's installed on the car since its at an angle, siphon out as much as possible then then add 3.4 oz? Anybody confirm my theory? Very confused on the right amount and procedure on how to this ...

I had a snout leak on mine that was not visible until I pulled the charger off and I got barely over 2 oz out of it.

i took the charger off, set it on a table and leveled it. Then opened the plug and got about 4.5 ounces out of it from over filling it earlier which would mean roughly 3.5 ounces still remains right?

Remains right??? It is right!
3.4oz aka 100ml is straight from Eaton. There is nothing to question.
I changed my blower oil 2 years ago and added 3.4oz as per the recommend fill and it's been perfect since.
