Supercharger won't kick on?

I just go t a 2005 cobalt ss with 70,000 miles...... my dad is a car dealer and he bought it wholesale from another dealer. I went to drive it and i was trying to abuse the supercharger and it wouldnt kick on...... at first i thought the boost guage wasn't working, but then i realized that the supercharger wont work.... I will have my dad's mechanics look at it, but i just want to know if you guys have ever had this problem, or if you know what it would be? Thanks

Lol, i hope this is a joke. Do you hear a whining sound or see the gauge go into boost? I dont mean to talk like you're retarded but i've never heard anybody say the sc won't "kick on"

If the car was driven in revese alot, the supercharger syncros may be out of alignment.

Yeah hope it goes well helping him. I'm sure he is anxious to get it working.

Engine bay pic will be a good start. I bet it's not boosting.

Can't imagine how slow it is. He should go on a dyno.

Mine as well. Or someone was an ******* before letting the car go and messed with the tune. Have seen it done to friends for teh lulz.

If this were an 06 I'd post "IB4 2.4 engine pay pics." But being it's an 05 that kind of ruins the fun.

could always just report the posts. if the mods are serious about trying to keep this site helpful then theyll get rid of em. if not itll continue to be an unhelpful hangout for about 2 dozen of the same people in every forum.
