See that's the problem with kids. They get a little knowledge and the think they know everything. Have to go bust the ***** of people who know less than them just to make themselves feel bigger. You notice the guys who know the most are usually the ones who are willing to listen to new ideas and willing to help new people. They may want you to do search rather than spoon feed you the info but at least they realize everyone was new at one time

wtf is everyone saying maybe 2.4ss and base models for the kid said his boost gauge won't go above vacuum and he's referencing the s/c, really?
boost inhibit would be pretty funny if that's what it was. trade it in on something and do a boost inhibit so they can't sell it lmao.

mine stopped giving me boost i found out that the butterflye that realeses extra boost was seized in the open position so i would never boost. i unseized it with rust check penetrating lube, that butterly valve is located under where the pvc valve is attached to it. hope that helps, its easiter to take the supercharger off and clean it. if you know how to release the tentioner.

It can't be an SS/NA, it's an 05.
As for someone who mentioned boost gauge, I've seen them in base models. Er, no, what was it the guy called it, his "SS clone." At least when muscle car guys do it they make it convincing.
That "butterfly" is the bypass valve referred to earlier in the thread. I think that's what everyone is assuming it is, that's the most common problem. Either that or something's causing a MASSIVE boost leak.
