Question Taking Off for Iraq again / Storage Questions ?

Well I'm heading over to the big litter box again and this time I'l be leaving behind a 2005 Cobalt SS/SC. Now I know about the whole drain the oil deal as wellas disconnecting the battery, but my question is this.

Is there anything else I need to know when it comes to storing my SS/SC ? Thanks in advance !

What I did when i went to Afghanistan was poured a bottle of stabil fuel in the gas tank then fill it with 93. Took it in my garage and put it on jackstands, covered the exhaust and intake (so critters don't nest). Put a box of arm&hammer in the passenger side footwell and a new air freshener and of course disconnected the battery. I came back and I had no flat spots in my tires and everything was working as it was when i left and smelled fresh.

Don't forget to wash and detail it VERY GOOD, before you store it. And a fresh coat of wax wouldn't hurt. That way when/if you cover it dust won't scratch the paint. I left mine uncovered, because it was in the garage, and all i had to do was take a california duster to it and it looked the way it did when i put it away.
