Tech 2 shows random misfire's
Hey guys , i took a tech2 for a ride today and its showing a misfire at idle , and when i downshift . I pulled 1st threw 3rd WOT and didn't get any at all . The car hasn't had any lights come on and the tech 2 didn't pick up any codes .
The car popped on me the night before at 6500rpm , then kept pulling to 7k , i did notice that my gas cap wasn't on at all , just set on the filler cap by a gas attendant so i'm hoping thats the problem . Any suggestions or fixes for a misfire? thanks .

had the same thing... never at wot either. most were at 2800-4k under 1/4-1/2 throttle with serious hesitation and intermit. bogging between shifts or high rpm rarely... new colder ngk's gapped at 38 solved all the issues..
it wasn't enough to cause a light though

this is where i have hesitation issues(cause of cams) now I'm 2.4,I wonder if changing the gaps on my plugs would help? I have asked this question before to no avail.
