Threw a P0171 code today

Hey guys just got my cel checked that went on earlier today , any ideas how to resolve this? The only thing I've done different was clean my throttle body about a week ago. Thanks for any advice !

no. look for air leaks. look for intake leaks. look for vacuum leaks.

Its probably a vacuum leak. All mine dry rotted, and had pin holes (To small to see with your eyes). Go out to your car, and grab some of the lines, and see if black dust comes off of them, and if so they are probably bad I would start with replacing those, and getting clamps to keep them closed tight. Its cheap, and a good starting point. The code came for a reason lol.

I threw that code 6 months ago, cleaned throttle body, nothing. Got "Eng Pwr Reduced" warning car went into "limp mode" few days later, died. Turns out it was a clogged catalytic converter the whole time! Check the obvious first! Best of luck.
