Hey, got a ticking sound that last a minute or two on cold starts.

The ticking comes from the engine block area, not the supercharger, and you can hear it coming through the exhaust. Gets faster / loud with higher rpms, through the engine and exhaust.

My initial thoughts were intake gasket since i just did dual pass and had the manifold on and off a few times and it looked rough, heard some cracks can cause this, then the heat expands and fills it, so it goes away.

My second guess would be that the timing of this starting is just a coincidence and i should change my timing chain tensioner.

Or something to do with my other mods i did at the same time, stage 3 and new injectors.

Or something else i don't know about.

Looking for opinions before i try or buy anything. Thank you

Check exgaust mani bolts mine loosened and made noise like that.

the intake manifold wont make a tick noise its either exhaust related or tensioner
