Time for a tune up

So I figured its about time to give my G5 a tune up. I have never done anything to the car other then brakes tires and oil change. I'm going to take it into the dealer and have them change the coolant and brake fluid and have them replace the belt. My car is a 5 speed do i have to do anything with the tranny?

why not flush your brakes yourself? it's super easy. put high temp brake fluid in and new spark plugs. you don't need to do anything with the tranny but it could benefit you a little maybe doing a flush and putting royal purple in

I hate dealing with fluid changes. I did a coolant flush on my Old car and i was nothing but issues with air bubbles. Ill let the dealer change the fluids and the belt ill do the plugs and the fuel filter myself.

flushing brakes is literally just bleeding them until there's no fluid. then replacing and bleeding them until there's no air. it will save you quite a bit of money probably, and only maybe an hour or two of work yourself

change trans fluid. coil packs will be fine, as long as your not getting misfiring currently. fresh plugs. clean maf, new air filter. call it a day, along with the other things you planned to do. Changing belt is a cakewalk and takes all of 5 minutes TOPS, and brakes are simple as well as stated above.
