torn leather door panel inlay
So i am getting in the passenger side of my car today and I notice about a 2 inch rip in the passenger armrest area of my blue door panel inlay. Anyone have any idea if the warrenty will cover this?? i am pissed as the car has 1212 miles on it, and it also has the idle problem. If it is not a warrenty fix for the tear, does anyone know does that piece come off or is it a whole door panel. This is the color inlay on an SS/SC. Thanks...

If it's the materal that goes around the trim up then yes it's under warranty. The material splits because GM didn't do a good enough job making sure it tucks under there properly. They make a TSB fix to that issue. It requires a black ring that goes around the trim and surpresses the material under it (forces it basically). This fix requires 2 hours of time.
