Tuning Runs RICH no matter what? Help
So I have a 2006 SS super charged cobalt
Header down pipe full magnaflow exhaust 2.9" pulley 60# injectors.
The problem I'm having while my guy is tuning is the 60lb constant fuel pressure and my car going rich at moderate to wide open throttle and after laying off it stays rich. He was cut fuel by 10% several times.
Is there something else he should be doing? We are confused thank you.
He is using HP tuners any help is appreciated

It also stays rich until you recycle the key. When you guys tuned did you have to keep leaning and leaning and leaning it out a lot after putting in the 60s to compensate for the 60lbs fuel regulator or is there something he is missing?

He just Said this.
Ve up to the point where MAF only takes over. I have Tuned the entire MAF table as it is used both during the regular driving and the wide open throttle only usage. And I did find out after your post while doing some searching on the injector data that the data that came with the tune is wrong. Those injectors only flow 60 lbs @ 43 psi. At 60psi they flow over 80 lbs, so I have to redo the injector information and then rescale the VE and MAF tables to match. Then I will go through tuning the rest to dial in the wide open throttle. That is why we are having so many problems, the injector data was wrong from the startup tune making WOT tuning a pain., Since I still don't have an exact part number on the injectors for sure, I'm going to verify that next. And then I will acquire the correct injector data before going any further. I should not have trusted that tune to have the correct
information in it, that's my bad - I mistakenly had faith that the person that set up the startup Tune had used the correct information - which they haven't. But we will be in good shape from here forward.

Actually he figured it out. He just had the specs of the injectors wrong which were wrong from the base tune to go along with the constant 60psi at the fuel rail. I think he is going to create an account and post the tune so anyone with my similar mods and injectors ect. Doesn't have the same problems and have a really good base tune to start with. The whole thing is kind of a long story but hopefully he will have it finished tomorrow.
He has been tuning for 23 years and has built a ton of bad ass cars.
