TVS Failure? Please help

I haven't been on here in a while. Posted a while back on throwing a 2.8 meth and other mods on my car. Sadly I began having issues with engine noise and after dropping the oil pan several times gave up. I only drive the car once a week or so the past few months.

Today I drove it about 3 miles and the TVS seized causing the belt to fly off. Happened at about 25 mph. Just cruising lightly downtown.

To me this sounds like the snout bearing or something caught in the rotors. I will pull the blower soon and post pics. I would really like some input on what may cause this and where I can get a rebuild kit for the tvs.
The pulley will not spin AT ALL.

Sadly no I never installed my pulley injectors or meth. But if for some crazy reason I did suck something up like a part of my eBay catch can how much damage could that cause? Would it ruin the rotors?
I will be posting pics when I get it off tonight.

I don't think that's even possible?!

Interested to see what it could be though.

Pics soon can't load them from my phone. The coupler is perfect . Gears are perfect. Snout is off and spins fine. Rotors have 95 percent of there coating on the top and bottom. However the side where the TB is they are scuffed fairly bad. There is a large peice of meal crushed between the rotors. They are stuck in the case also. Really hope this is fixable. Not sure where the metal came from yet till I get the pack out.

Will prob need the rotors re-coated at a min to bring back the correct tolerances for optimal efficiency.

I will late tonight the phone app won't let me.
I may just go m62 to get mobile until I get this thing rebuilt. Or may rebuild and sell it. I could probably get a decent m62 for 300 or so hopefully.

you always love the power a modded car gives you until something goes wrong, then you question why you molested it to begin with. At least i do...

Not that I know of.... Did you have any ports or anything in the intake?

nope no intake work. The peice of metal jammed in there is fairly large. Cannot tell if it came from the side of the case or not. I am told it can be rebuilt but haven't heard back from zzp.
I will be posting it in the classifieds soon just so I can get an m62 and get back rolling

Do you want to sell it to me?

I'll be re posting a video soon of the noise it was making before it broke. Could be helpful to some. Had several mechanics diagnose as rod knock. . . But no other symptoms and had dropped pan twice to check them. It is what it is. Noise was mostly at idle. A grumbling knock with occasional squeak. So possibly blower needle bearings? The coupler looks good as new. Car ran perfect pulled hard up until failure.

Update:
TVS sold to Josh at OTTP. I am waiting for him to send me an m62 and some parts I was told would be shipped asap last week.

Downtime is sucking

So going back with the M62 on a 2.7? Will probably feel pretty good since I wasnt Pushing the TVS. I had no torque lol.

i have a stage two belt and getting an oversize tensioner pulley. I am confused from searching whether or not I need the tensioner pulley with the stage two belt?
Some say they slip some dont?

A 2.7 is at the limits of the stage 2 belts "no slip" range, but like you read... some have no issues, and some do.

Ok sweet. So it won't cause any issues to run the bigger tensioner pulley with the stage two belt?
