Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

TVS Failure? Please help

I don't believe so no. Check the dyno thread for small pulley mods. Just to be sure.

Sorry to hear about the tvs goin boom. But to answer the question about stage 2 belt with oversized tensioner pulley.. it works great no slip but a pain to install. Good luck

Yes I just learned of the struggle lol. Unfortunately I still don't have my parts promised to ship last Thursday or Friday. Have sent numerous texts and emails. Have called during and after hours. I was never sent a tracking number of invoice even though I asked for an invoice over the phone.
I wonder if Josh forgot about me lol
I took tomorrow off to put the car together. . .
Just sucks when someone tells you they will do something and it doesn't happen. If no parts tomorrow I will make a thread

Yes my intake was rubbing on the hole where it goes from the fender to the engine bay and there was a good chunk missing out of the intake that yad gone throught the blower/mani/engine. Must have been small enough bits at a time where i never noticed it though luckily

Mine has rubbed against my PCM. I will have to patch if I ever get my parts to get the car back together

UPDATE:
M62 is on. Got tensioner on. Belt is WAY too tight. The tensioner pulley is touching the top of the strut. Can't be safe to try and run it. Any suggestions?

Tensioner pulley touching the strut? Maybe some pics would help. Never had any issue just that it was a pain to install. I'm sure you know you have to grind the assembly for the pulley to sit properly and spin freely.
