weird gas reading
so i leave the house this morning with a half a tank of gas. Drove 5 blocks to wally world gas station for a black and mild, i left the car running to make the purchase to come back to a low fuel message. so i went to krogers for gas, putting 2 gallons of e85 and 2 of 93. the gas needle went 3/4 of a tank. so i proceed to drive to work and not even 3 minutes later i look at the needle to see it at 1/4th of a tank and was steady moving to e then 3 beeps later a have a low fuel message again.
has anyone had this happen before or knows how to fix?
thanks

The ethanol's probably messing things up. If your car isn't a Flex-Fuel, it's not recommended to run E-85. I wish they'd stop putting 10% ethanol in gasoline. I try to fuel up at this one station that sells ethanol-free gasoline whenever I can. I figure the more diluted the ethanol is, the less damage it can do.

that makes no sense. Injectors spraying like a garden hose maybe
ALL vehicles made from like 2000 up are ethanol compatible as far as the tank and lines go. Federal mandate.
And these cars love e85.
The black sludge ppl talk about; that comes from crappy stations. Not the fuel. And if he's running 50/50 then that too is irrelevant.

I had that code for about two months off and on. Can't really figure it out. Checked for leaks but nothing. But the gas needle issue just happens yesterday morning but been on 50/50 mix for about 4 months
