Weird noise!

ok.. so i know this isnt gonna be easy to help me with based on what i tell u but im basically writing this out to see if there is something common or anyone has had this before and blah blah.
ok.. so.. i turned my car on when i got out of the batting cages tonight and i got out to let it warm up and i just started hearing a rattling noise from what seemed to be the left front wheel area... now.. it sortof sounded like a heat shield but it only happened for like 6 seconds and then completely went away. i only noticed it today but it could be happening more than i know of. if anybody has any ideas please help me get some ideas.

my car is a 2006 cobalt ss/sc. if it matters i have an AEM cai and a full exhaust (badmab header, zzp catted dp, and corsa catback)

It's normal for all Cobalts to have numerous unexplanable rattling and strange noises coming from them

hahaha pretty much. unless it's a persistent noise i wouldn't be too worried about it.

When I had both my 06 SS and a 08 Sport just about every month or so there would be a new noise coming from somewhere which could not be found where it was coming from.

ok.. so update! i started my car and the noise was happening. it tends to only happen when cold.. i plug the exhaust and the sound goes away. let off and it comes back. plug it again and it goes away. my question now is could this be my high flow cat on my zzp catted dp? has anybody had problems with them? and/or has anybody had problems with the heatshields hanging and rubbing? it has to be something exhaust ive decided. any ideas?

thats the type of answer i was looking for thank you. ill have to check the heat shields first and hope it isnt the cat even tho it'd be replaced by zzp regardless

Start the car and get under it and pinpoint where the sound is coming from.. if it's exhaust related you will be able to tell pretty easily where it is
