whistle noise from supercharger when throttling ???
ok i have an after market air intake on my car and after market down pipe but everything else is stock my superharger is making a whistle noise that its never making befor and i cant figure out y its making the noise can anyone help me or have ideas....
FYI it only makes the noise when i get on the throttle and im NOT mistaking it for the whine from the superharger.
i also pulled my aftermarket air intake off and it still makes the whistle noise ,also replace the bypass valve hoses and still didnt make a difference....
if you have any suggestions please share!!!!

Change your catalytic converter. Excess pressure from a clogged cat can cause a weird whistling sound from around the blower, which lots of people will mistake for a vacuum leak or a squeaky belt.
I know, because I know exactly what sound you're talking about, because it happened to me.
Have GM or a trusted Mech. check out your cat. Bet it's clogged.
