Window Tint Problem, HELPPPP!!!
Just got my windows tinted and there is a HUGE problem. The back window tint looks terrible, the "matrix dots" are causing the tint to not stick. I know that you can shave the dots down but it is too late. Any ideas?

no no no, there is an easier way. Wait til it is REALLY hot outside, then get yourself a rubber squeegee (or however you spell it) and use that to press the tint against the window. The dots have always been a problem area but it worked on mine, and I can take pics if you need to see proof.

I had the same problem with mine. I took it back to the tint place and they trimmed the tint from the matrix area and stuck on black vinyl, turned out great. When you look through the rearview mirror it only appears to be like an inch strip blacked out up top, then the tint. Looks cool and clean now, I'm happy with it.

Thanks for the help but I have a silly question

I have reviewed the black vinyl option and from the photos it look pretty good but since I will be doing this myself, I have a question.
I have found a supplier for the self adhesive vinyl but since the adhesive is on the back how do you get the premo side facing out of the car? I told you it was a silly question but I am curious.

When in the driver's seat it only appears like a 1 inch strip is totally blacked out:
Here's what it looks at from the rear seating area:
Here's an awful pic, I tried to get it at an angle with the sun shining through to show where it begins. My car is dusty as hell, but you can see where it start right where the last of the defogger ends.
When bright sunshine is not shining through the rear like in this pic due to angle and time of day I took it, you can't even see any difference. The window just looks totally black top to bottom. I will post another pic this weekend after I wash this thing.
