wow bad oil change

as if the cel from my intake wasnt bad enough (refer to prior post)..i got my oil changed yesterday and i realized my oil life on the comp screen in my dash was not reset..can i reset it or does the oil place do that...?

yea you can do it your self......hold the button for a couple of seconds and at'll ask you if you want to reset your oil life....choose yes

Hold both of the computers buttons at the same time. The oil reset is in that menu

start car--> press both the i and arow at the same time on your DIC should be at the "reset oil life" option --> hit the arrow ---> hit the arrow again....done.

lol i thought it was going to be you forgot to put drain plug back in before adding oil... lol but to reset its whats said above!

car has to be off. turn the keys to power on, car still off...if you dont, youll just get the english and metric options...oil life reset will come up and then itll say 'acknowledged' once its reset...then fire her up.

i thought something bad happenede like they forgot to put the oil back in when they drained it like they did on my cavalier lol now thats a bad oil change
