Yea, somethings wrong, Trifecta 19psi car is even with my 24psi HPTuned Car...
Well, as some have seen. I had been having issues with this car for quite a while. Originally thought it was just the tune. Checked compression, boost leaks, valvetrain, everything...but I think I've came to the conclusion my injector seal is bad on maybe cylinder 3 or 4. I know I get slight knock on cylinder 4 only and its intermittent. I also have the cold start up issue where sometimes my car will just fall flat on its face and quit during idle in the morning, I was thinking it was my mass air flow sensor being dirty since it doesn't seem to do it as bad when I clean it but since I have cleaned it just a few days ago I'm thinking thats just a band-aid to cover up my leaky injector seal. I have a brand new evap purge solenoid on it because I also thought that was the issue. CCS3 has mentioned it still looked like I had a tiny leak or something somewhere because my trims were always skewed. The original owner took the intake manifold off of the car to shave and paint it and put it back on so maybe it has a leak that I'm missing around the intake manifold due to him not replacing the gasket. I have the popcorn sound I think but its more of a ping/pop to me than anything and a cylinder 4 misfire code has also appeared a few times.. To be honest its hard to hear it over the loud ass catless exhaust and I really have to concentrate to hear it, especially since the car is dynamatted. But apparently I have a serious loss in power and I thought the car was pulling good but I guess I don't remember how my old car pulled since the car I ran had the exact same tune/mods as my old car(see below) and it was even with me. There isn't really much knock, just I just wanted opinions from everyone else who has had similar issues. I read IamBroke's post about this on LNFPerformance I believe and his symptoms were almost identical to mine with his blown seal. Everything to replace the seals has been ordered so I hope this fixes it.

I was on a trifecta tune @22psi before in this car and a 370z could stay even with me. I'm fully bolted and have the supporting mods to keep my air inlet temps cool at 24psi. 5psi more than what hes hitting.in the cold weather and I'm still somewhat in the efficiency range of the turbo on a tune that pulls way better than my original trifecta tune on here and I guarantee I'm running more timing. Something IS wrong.

Yea, it'll buck sometimes but I think your tuning kind of compensated for the skewed trims some. Its mainly the pop/ping into boost. I just didn't think normally cars would lose a seal on pump gas but oh well. I suppose if it developed a leak somehow, it could have burnt one out.

Ok, subie sound is verified. Never noticed it because my car is dynamatted and it sounds different with the windows down. I ended up having to turn the stereo off and leaning my seat back to gangsta status. Valvetrain is fine therefore it has to be my injector and seal.

Yea, I just read about princessturbos and his still sounded like a suby after he replaced the lash adjusters because of his injector seal leaking. I will prob get valve springs and lash adjusters next week or something, but last I checked there was no play and nothing appeared damaged in my valvetrain.

Also I bought an injector off of mongorat to ensure that when I pulled it apart the one with the seal missing could be replaced incase it was going bad.
And for anyone needing torque specs on the intake nuts and bolts, its 18ft-lbs.

Yea, I always heard of people talking about a popcorn sound when they lose a seal. Thats why I never thought that I had that issue. Oh well, worst case is I need a new head. Compression is still too good for the bottom end to be shot.
