You can just drive it normally for the first 300-500 miles and they will break-in on their own. However if you want to speed up this process, drive it normally for the first 100 miles and:
40-5mph firm slow down
50-5mph moderate slow down
40-5mph firm slow down
Do this about 2-3 times. Drive the vehicle for a good 10 minutes before parking for gradual cool down (very important).

Because some drilled rotors use to crack under stress.....i still run d/s after hearing that very same reason.... I've only ran into that problem once but that was with a cheaply made rotor 10yrs ago

Yes, there is still a GB going on, however prices have change for the better, rotors are actually lower now.
