Our "Premier" rotors were called Premium back in the day but a few years ago we changed it to "Premier. It's still the same high carbon rotors that we offer just with a different name.

Any deal on a set of OE blank rotors? I'm tired of drilled and slotted, haven't had much luck with them..

Get slotted only.
My EBC drilled and slotted cracked and were trash in 10k or so. R1 slotted only and I already have more than 10k on them. They are great. I have Powerstop pads on them. I recommend.

The OEM brake pads and rotors on my G5 GT lasted me about 50,000 miles before I replaced them with a set of drilled & slotted premier rotors and Hawk HPS pads from R1Concepts. Since then, I put 160,000 miles on my car over the course of 6 1/2 years. I did a brake job on my car this weekend and put on a new set of (you guessed it) R1Concepts premier rotors and Hawk HPS pads. After that many miles, the rear rotors were just about down to the minimum thickness (which you can easily determine because the slots are cut to the minimum rotor thickness) and the rear pads were down to the squealers. The front rotors were in slightly better shape, and the front pads had a little less than half their thickness left. I'm really happy with the longevity of this brake setup.

There is one question I have, and it has to do with the caliper sliding pins. When I replaced the brakes 6.5 years ago, I lubed them with the red Hawk brake grease that comes with the brake pads. When I took them apart this weekend, that grease was as hard as a pencil eraser and causing the pins to be seized up in the caliper. Is there a better grease to use on this part? Just to be sure, these are the rods that are inside the rubber boot that allow the caliper to stay centered on the brake rotors.

That's great to hear our product has worked out great and lasted that long for you on your vehicle(s)! The brake grease isn't suppose to turn hard at all. Another option you can do is using the CRC Disc Brake Quiet which instead.
