1) Yes they can with no ill side effects like the stock rotors.
2) I bought replacemen brembo(ferrodo) fronts because I really like them and I use HPS rears. They are flawless. People with HPS all the way around say its almost like stock. Personally, I like my combo. Been running them for 2mo now(bout 4k) with no issues or scoring at all.
Great rotors

So brembo doesnt make our oem pads? ferrodo does?
How many miles were you at when you needed brakes?
Thanks for the help

I didnt need the brakes. In fact I still had a little less than half a pad on the fronts. The rears had been replaced under warranty at 14k. I really wanted to get rotors and that meant new pads too. The fronts had 16k on them.
I dont regret it one bit

Yes, Ferrodo makes the pad for Brembo who in turn markets and sells them under their branding. I went with the slotted rotors as a matter of personal preferance.

I just really love my Ferrodo fronts and they way they have performed thus far, finding that my rears are lacking (dragging, scraping, bad grooving) tried to get it warrantied but the brake guy at my dealership said they wouldn't do it.

Im thinking about purchasing rotors and pads for my 2006 cobalt ss/sc. How much would it be for stock replacement r1 rotors and HPS brake pads front and rear. Also how much for slotted r1 rotors front and rear? PM if you can

ugh, I am thinking about upgrading these to these when I need brakes, I love the look of drilled, but everything I am reading about them cracking is scaring me, I may end up having to go with slotted, as I can be hard on my brakes at times, and I just couldn't bring my self to sacrifice durability for looks in this kind of situation.

hey
just curious, cause I'm start saving up for these now...now much for the slotted, front and rears for the TC. Along with the Hawk HPS pads, also front and rears. Shipped. Thank you.
