Twinscrew information

Well we all know about this project and I wanted to give you guys some info.

First off, our test car has over 20K on it so far without any problems. We took it to the track late in the fall and had a issue with a coil pack but still managed to run a 13.8 at 105mph, this with a 2.2 60' (we couldn't push it off the line as the coil pack would cause mis fire).

Now here's the deal, we have 20 kits made (minus the supercharger), but they are at our vendor's machine shop. Reason they are all there is we still owe them a pretty penny for all the work.

So what we would like to offer is a price for all the pieces which come with the kit and you can get the supercharger from PSE. However if we get enough people interested then we can get a better price from PSE (the superchargers come from Sweden so the more we order, the lower the price)

I have been driving the test car for a while now and I would say that the most distinct feature of the Twin Screw is the instant power at very low rpms. I personally love it and have driven many other boosted cobalts to compare to.

Currently 2K5SS/SC? is installing his kit and should have some pics and vids.

Explain why you think some one should pick this over the TVS.

Screw Chargers for the win!.. (Have had a Whipple on a truck for several years now).. Cooler charge.. starts making boost in the SC rather than just paddling it through and making the boost in the intake..

my thoughts take them how you please

twin screw has better intake temps and better low end grunt but according to the graphs they had last the top end power was a little lacking

TVS had about the same maybe less efficent for internal temps, so so low end but amazing top end for the type displacement it was.

The TVS was built in mind as a real aftermarket replacement. Twin screw to me is more of a novelty than a real power maker. It was compareable to the Eaton M62 but with slightly more low end grunt and better intake temps. Otherwise the same if you ask me. The twin screws they had won't allow for anything smaller than a 2.7 I think before you were killing it's efficentcy.

The TS does make good power! We got 295 hp with a 2.86"/72.6mm pulley on a stock motor with intake, DP and cat back and unfinished tune. Not to mention that the IAT2's increased only 13*F. Most guys with the TVS never go lower than 2.95"/75mm due to heat concerns let alone 2.7"/68.5mm. You show me a M62 making the same power with the same mods.

us tvs guys cant go lower than a 2.9 because we dont have enough fuel pressure without a return style system.... 60s run out of juice

simple mods can help with cooling to get the temps down

subscribed for more info.

any of you that know 2K5SS/SC? know that he has always wanted his twinscrew back, and this may be our chance to see it.

leave the bashing alone for a while, let rebel try to give some results before you flame them. they've always treated me well, and worked hard to get me what i needed.

I'll wait for 2K5 to get his back, he's been waiting for a hell of a time.

Then i'll make a conclusion.

I still haven't recieved my working kit. ITS BEEN 2 YEARS !!!!!Guess the customer is not important since my money has already been taken. and i sent Eng an email about this issue a week or so ago an instead of responding to me or contacting a ALREADY PAID CUSTOMER, he posted general sales information on this product....
I'm honestly agrivated, I HAVE ALREADY ASKED FOR A WORKING KIT OR REFUND an was DENIED A REFUND AND PROMISED A BRAND NEW WORKING KIT. I feel as though I've been strung along for the last year an a half being told by email an reading on this forum that they are still working on this project an I will recieve a brand new kit. AN THAT MONTH AFTER MONTH THE KIT IS ALMOST FINISHED, THEY ARE WORKING OUT THE LAST KINKS. Infact Im STILL waiting on the other half of my damange cost STILL OWED TO ME BY rebels first defective kit.

their websites not up an running an theres No business phone number to get in contact with them?

I am a victim of hurricane katrina an lost EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER OWNED my neighborhood drowned in 22 feet of water. Everything is gone except for my cobalt ss an this kit was actually a gift to me from my girlfriend to help better what I do have left.
I just want to see things made right Im tired of dealing with the stress of the possibility this company could be a scam considering the length of time that has passed with no resolution.
Now Im thinking I Just want a refund....

Once again this is the wrong T/S for our application. w100ax is what we need and it is not out yet. Been looking into this for a while now. We could use a larger pulley spinning the blower slower to create the same amount of boost effectively killing our little heat problem.

Boominit that is a really unfortunate story and im sorry you have to deal with people like that but unfortunately you probably will never see your money back or your working kit...
