No Power Steering, Replaced Fuse And PS Motor

Driving one night and the power steering light comes on then immediately goes off. Does this off and on for a few days. Then intermittently when i start it I would have no power steering. I never had it go out while driving, but on occasion I would have it come back on. Eventually it got to a point where i had no power steering and it never came back on while driving. Ordered a new PS motor and installed it today. Didn't work. Bought a new 2 amp fuse for the PS/ steering wheel inside the car. Checked the 30 amp fuse under the hood. Seemed fine. I am currently not getting any power steering warning lights. Its just not working. I do have a check engine light. Tried to get it checked by an AutoZone guy and he said he couldn't connect. Don't know if he just screwed something up or what because I have had them check codes before. Now I'm starting to lean towards the whole column replacement but I'm not doing that until i know for sure that's what it is. Any ideas on what to check next? Any other diagnostics i could do before taking it somewhere?

I noticed this today. Not sure what is going on here. A few wires don’t seem to have a place to go.

also noticed I put this in the wrong forum. Can someone move it or delete it so i can post in the proper forum?
