I live outside a small 15,000 person town in the country. Lots of woods around me, and it's quiet with deer and turkey, etc around. Boring but pretty safe to raise a family. I can be to Indy in about 40 minutes if I want. Lots of farming in the area. I don't have to worry about any car scene as all of us here tend to compliment each other's cars instead of running them down. Lucas oil raceway is 38 minutes away....

The door panel is off because I was replacing the interior door handles that broke on both sides. It is back on now. The back tailgate doesn't match because my mechanism got screwed up and fell down inside the tailgate so I just swapped with a guy who uses an old chevy bed as a trailer for scrap metal, which they extract with a magnet, so no need for a working tailgate. I have also swapped the seat out with an older on but in better condition because a big hole had developed in on the drivers side and I was sitting lopsided. Also swapped out the mirrors from an older chevy because I broke one backing up a trailer clipping a pole. Currently at 202,000 miles . The nice thing about these trucks is pretty much all the major components are interchangeable from 88-98. I'm going to keep this one rolling along as long as possible.
