All mods are in.
Before the install day, the car had cracked air box (really bad), and a small hole in the exhaust. It also had a broken spring in the rear.
1.) ZZP Catback with resonator
2.) ZZP Downpipe with 400 Cell Cat
3.) ZZP CAI
4.) ZZP Stage 2, 3.0 Pulley, 42# injectors and GM belt.
5.) Eibach Sportline springs.
6.) New sway bar linkage.... Old ones had the back not rounded over so we had to cut them.
7.) New routers and pads.
It's like a different car now. I'm loving this whine. I'm loving the exhaust sound. The car pulls hard. The stock boost gage is showing 16 psi.... I have no idea why it took me 11+ years and 160,000 miles before modding the car.
Also, the springs looked a little fat so I'm having them do yoga now.

Yup I have a manual 6spd Saab for daily duties it's a fun car but not even close to the way the cobalt is haha. I really just got the Saab so I can work on the balt and build it without having to finish in a weekend but since I got a House I can't afford to do much to it atm
Yeah nothing wrong to daily a zfr cobalt not that I have one but I don't see why it would be a problem.

It's really hard to not go double the speed limit several times a week
Just takes some discipline.......
I leave my fuel mileage up on the display to remind me the reason why I purchased the car. As long as I stay out of it I'm fine. When I get on it on a stretch of road, then I want to get on it, on another stretch of road.....
After all, once you get the tires hot, it's a waste to not get it on more.

yep. I almost miss my n/a setup. I could have so much fun WOTblasting everywhere and not be going jail fast.
Now my car goes 55-140 faster than I could go 40-80 n/a and downhill

Once I take it back to the track and get my need for speed fix there, it'll be easier to stay out of it on the road
Winter is here so time to swap over to the winter tires and probably due for a trans fluid change. Also starting to think about replacing out struts. I am at 140km (87k miles) on stock struts.
Car does idle much better after cleaning valves and spark plugs!

Its not finished yet but it will be a catless 3" turboback with a Thermal R&D muffler off a 1G DSM. Have always been a big fan of the Thermal exhaust on the 4g63's so cant wait to hear this thing.
Let me know how it sounds. I ran 3" mandrel catback with catless dp on my LNF for one day before I couldn't stand the rasp. I took the dp off and I'm running stock now
